- Design & develop test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications for all SOTI’s product offerings
- Create, implement and maintain test coverage for SOTI’s Web and Mobile applications
- Work collaboratively with test teams
- Prioritize testing tasks, scenarios and test cases and track and report on testing activities
- Conduct various types of testing as part of the feature development process and release cycle
- Follow the overall QA process improvements to ensure consistency and standardization across product lines
- Work in a collaborative, quality‑focused role in agile development teams to shape SOTI's product offerings
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a post‑secondary program in a related field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering)
- Knowledge of algorithms, data structures and database fundamentals
- Basic knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle concepts
- Solid analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Basic knowledge of programming in one or more of the following programming languages: C, C++, Java, JavaScript, SQL, Ruby, Rust, Lua, Haskell
- Basic knowledge of test strategies, planning and prioritizing test cases and execution
- Knowledge of web/mobile applications and web services testing, as well as the OSI model and computer networking principles (TCP/IP)
- Curiosity, a desire to learn and be a part of a team
Compensation
Targeted compensation range: $50,000 – $60,000 annually, determined by education, experience, and internal equity principles.
