SPO MH 30 - Regional Manager - Closing Date Extended (123621)

Location: Prince George, BC V2N4P7 CA (Primary)

Salary: $102,255.97 – $116,994.33 annually, including a 2 Grid Market Adjustment.

Close Date: 7/8/2026

Contract: Regular Full Time, Hybrid work options up to 2 days per week where approved.

Responsibilities

The Regional Manager for the North region provides regional oversight for court‑ordered and court‑related mental health assessment and treatment services to youth involved with the justice system, including those found unfit to stand trial or not criminally responsible due to a mental disorder. Supports multidisciplinary teams across outpatient, inpatient and custody settings to address complex needs related to mental health, substance use and offending behavior.

Qualifications

- Master’s degree in social work (Clinical Specialty or equivalent), Educational Counselling, Clinical Psychology, Child and Youth Care, or equivalent.
- NOTE: If this education was obtained outside Canada, provide a basic report through ICES.

- Minimum of three (3) years post‑degree clinical experience providing adolescent, outpatient‑oriented mental health assessment and treatment services.
- Minimum of three (3)



years recent (within the past five (5) years) supervisory experience that included program coordination or program management.

Preferred Experience

- Recent (within the past five (5) years) experience working in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings.
- Recent (within the past five (5) years) experience working in a forensic psychiatric facility.
- Valid class 5 BC Driver’s licence with no restriction (or equivalent).

Mandatory Requirements

- Criminal Record Check (CRC) and Criminal Record Review Act Check (CRRA) required.
- Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
