Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Project Controls Coordinator to support project cost control, forecasting, reporting, earned value management, and change management activities for major projects.

Level 2 Must Haves

- 3+ years of experience in construction or project controls
- Experience developing a project control plan. Develop project estimate, control budget, and WBS structure
- Experience tracking and monitoring forecast to completion, incurred cost, and budget. Provide variance analysis and explanation
- Experience using Oracle, Power BI, and Microsoft Office products specifically Excel
- Post-secondary education in engineering or construction

Nice To Have

- Experience working on solar or other renewable energy projects

Level 4 Must Haves

- Project Management Skilled credential (PMP)
- 10+ years of experience in project controls
- Experience leading and coordinating the development of project control plans
- Experience developing project estimates, control budget, and WBS structure
- Experience implementing Earned Value Management. Ensure accurate CPI and Earned Value curve are reported
- Experience implementing change management.



Initiate PCOs, trends, and AFE revisions. Support on the supplemental funding request
- Experience using Ecosys, Oracle, Power BI, and Microsoft Office products specifically Excel
- Post-secondary education in engineering or construction

Responsibilities

- Develop project control plan, estimate, control budget, and WBS structure
- Track and monitor forecast to completion, incurred cost, and budget. Provide variance analysis and explanation
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure engagement with project progress, changes, highlights, and issues. Communicate status and issues with the execution and construction team
- Proactively report cost status and efficiently communicate any risk and mitigation plan
- Update actual progress, project milestones, and completion dates
- Implement Earned Value Management. Ensure accurate CPI and Earned Value curve are reported
- Implement change management. Initiate PCOs, trends, and AFE revisions. Support on the supplemental funding request
