Executive Non-UnionSalary Range: $147,719.00 To $169,799.00 AnnuallyLocation: Timmins, ONJob type: Full-Time – 35 hours per weekVacancy Status: Existing PositionWhat you’ll do in the roleCreate, coordinate, and evaluate the financial programs and supporting information systems of the company to include budgeting, and conservation of assetsEnsure compliance with local, provincial, and federal (including ministerial) budgetary and financial reporting requirementsEnsure all financial and operational policies and procedures are in compliance with Federal and Provincial requirements and GuidelinesDevelop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures, and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards & report recommendations to the Executive Director.Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports, and submit quarterly and annual financial statements to fundersPrepare budget adjustments as required for funding requirements or for changes in services/operationsMaintain, monitor, and ensure signing of all Funding Agreements and respond to subsequent reporting requirementsDevelop a system to ensure completion and submission of Annual GST, HST, and other remittances required by lawOversee functions of payrollManage the year-end audit process and reportOversee the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, department/project budgets, salary updates, ledger, and account maintenance and data entryEstablish and ensure records systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and regulationsDevelop and direct the implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs, and systems with management teamAssist in obtaining the necessary licenses and insurance required to operate the organizationAnalyze cash flow, cost controls,

A combination of education, experience and knowledge will also be consideredChartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designationProven ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and planning cyclesExperience in a multi-location, complex operating environmentStrong consolidation, modelling,



and executive communication skillsExperience with non-for-profit organizations such as Indigenous child wellbeing, child welfare or human services, with preference given to work with Indigenous organizations.Must possess a valid “G” Ontario Driver’s license, be willing to travel and able to work flexible hours.Must produce transparent Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.Ability to speak a native language considered a major asset.At Kunuwanimano Child and Family Services, we walk together in the spirit of respect, learning, and community.
