We are recruiting on behalf of a leading transportation company seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their team in Port Coquitlam, BC. This is an exciting prospect for a motivated operations leader who thrives in a fast-paced LTL environment and is ready to make a measurable impact.

This role reports directly to the Terminal Manager and plays a critical part in driving operational efficiency, productivity, and cost control within a unionized setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage dock and driver productivity while optimizing operational processes
- Oversee inbound and outbound freight flow to ensure efficiency and service excellence
- Lead operations within a unionized environment
- Monitor and manage key operational KPIs, including cost controls and performance metrics
- Support and engage with customers as required to maintain strong service relationships
- Contribute to overall terminal performance and operational improvements





What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience in an LTL transportation environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Solid communication skills, both internal and customer-facing
- Experience managing operational KPIs and cost performance
- P&L; exposure or experience is considered an asset
- Self-motivated, driven, and eager to make a difference
