This is an prospect to take ownership of a diverse litigation caseload within a collaborative setting. You will be responsible for guiding clients through complex legal matters, representing them in court and alternative resolution processes, and working closely with a team of lawyers and paralegals to deliver efficient, high-quality legal services. Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of litigation and client advisory work, including: Managing litigation files from intake through resolution, with ownership of strategy and execution Conducting legal analysis and providing strategic advice to clients Drafting pleadings, affidavits, legal memoranda, and settlement agreements Representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations Assessing legal risk and advising on dispute resolution strategies Collaborating with lawyers, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective file management Building and maintaining strong client relationships QualificationsMembership in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta (or eligibility for admission) Minimum of three (3) years of post-call litigation experience Law degree from a recognized institution Experience in at least one of our practice areas (e.G., Family Law, Civil Litigation, Estates Litigation, Tax Litigation, Corporate Law, Estate Planning) is required.
