Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Dynamics 365 Business Central Implementation Lead to lead end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing ERP implementations, collaborating with business stakeholders, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful project delivery. This role requires strong functional expertise in Business Central, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation projects from discovery through post-go-live support.

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand organizational objectives, business processes, and functional requirements.

• Conduct workshops, fit-gap analysis, solution design sessions, and business process mapping.

• Translate business requirements into scalable Business Central solutions aligned with industry best practices.

• Develop implementation strategies, project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation plans.

• Lead functional consultants, technical consultants, developers, and third-party vendors throughout project execution.

• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, budget,



and schedule expectations.

• Oversee configuration of Business Central modules including:

• Financial Management

• General Ledger

• Accounts Payable

• Accounts Receivable

• Cash & Bank Management

• Fixed Assets

• Inventory Management

• Sales & Purchasing

• Warehouse Management

• Manufacturing (if applicable)

• Projects/Jobs

• Service Management

• Coordinate data migration, integration, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and cutover activities.

• Manage change requests, project scope, and stakeholder expectations.

• Identify implementation risks and proactively resolve project issues.

• Provide executive-level project status updates and steering committee presentations.

• Support organizational change management and user adoption initiatives.

• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to implementation methodologies and best practices.

• Collaborate with Microsoft partners and internal leadership to deliver high-quality ERP solutions.

• Support pre-sales activities including solution demonstrations, effort estimation, proposal development, and customer presentations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.





• 10+ years of ERP implementation experience.

• 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV implementation experience.

• Proven experience leading multiple end-to-end Business Central implementation projects.

• Robust understanding of finance, supply chain, manufacturing, inventory, procurement, and distribution business processes.

• Experience managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and client communications.

• Strong knowledge of implementation methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches.

• Experience with data migration, integrations, and third-party ISV solutions.

• Ability to lead cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant certification.

• Microsoft Power Platform experience (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure integration services.

• Experience with AL extensions and Business Central customization concepts.

• Knowledge of Copilot capabilities within Business Central.

• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications are preferred.
