Position: Temporary Full Time Security Team Lead (5 Months) Site: Georgetown Hospital Hours: Continental Rotation / hrs) Pay Rate: $24.54/hr – $26.99/hr (based on the levelling system) Averaging Agreement: Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours Posting Date: Jan 26, 2026 Internal Closing Date: Jan 30, 2026 External Closing Date: Jan 30, 2026 Responsibilities Provides leadership, direction, and ongoing coaching and training Ensures all standing orders and scheduled daily activities are carried out as required for each shift Ensures site staff adhere to all Paladin Security and site security policies and procedures Plans and implements shift work schedules Ensures all Security Guards have received the mandatory training Motivates staff and issues commendations Disciplines staff when necessary and ensures proper documentation is passed onto head office Attendance Management Performs security audits Documents and investigates security incidents and complaints Provides proactive and reactive security patrols Communicates any concerns/issues with Client Service Manager Requirements A valid Ontario Security Guard License A valid Standard First Aid CPR C Certificate (from a WSIB approved organization) Proof of up-to-date immunization records for Mumps, Measles, Rubella, Varicella, and a two-step Tuberculosis skin test COVID-19 vaccine (two doses) Willingness to complete N95 mask fit testing during training Vulnerable Sector Check English (oral and written)



fluency is a must At least one year of security experience in a team‑lead role Minimum two years of security experience in a healthcare environment Post‑secondary education in a law‑enforcement/security program from a recognized college Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy Legally authorized to work in Canada Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) If applicants do not possess UOF/MOAB certifications, they may opt into an approved training program prior to onboarding to meet position requirements Please be aware: The UOF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre‑employment requisite; however, Paladin will cover all training costs with a 6‑month commitment to the position/availability.
