We are committed to active participation in reconciliation, advancing an equitable and inclusive culture, building allyship and contributing to Indigenous development and empowerment.What You Will DoBuild and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with Indigenous communities.Take ownership of major projects for public (federal, provincial, municipal, Indigenous government) and private sector (e.G., critical infrastructure asset owners) clients across a wide variety of industries and sectors.Develop and implement strategies, policies, procedures and business cases.Support provincial implementation of Indigenous relations to increase collaboration and potential business opportunities with communities and Indigenous businesses.Prepare and distribute reports and proposals, including proposals for RFP submissions.Conduct research, data gathering and analysis.Manage teams of KPMG advisory personnel, including training and mentoring of junior staff and contributing to the overall skills enhancement and experience of the team.Assist with the development and review of engagement reports and technical project reviews.Assist in preparing strategic plans, business plans and business cases.Contribute to a dedicated team of professionals in delivering advisory services to clients.What You Bring To The Role7+ years of industry experience in a relevant industry, including 3+ years of consulting experience (e.G., government, engineering, construction, real estate, utilities) and/orDemonstrated skills and experience in one or more of the following:Community engagementInfrastructure project planning,



procurement or deliveryEconomic and financial analysisLeading and facilitating meetings and workshops, operational and business improvementLifecycle asset managementData analytics, business intelligence and GISGood interpersonal skills and proven capabilities of managing/mentoring and working with a multi‐disciplinary team.Experience working directly in or with Indigenous communities in BC.Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous culture, governance, treaties and rights, reconciliation and Indigenous history in BC and Canada.Excellent project management, critical thinking, and problem‐solving skills that incorporate Indigenous knowledge and studies to meet community and client needs.Ability to work respectfully with Indigenous communities and Elders to build mutually respectful relationships and partnerships.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Skills & QualificationsUndergraduate or graduate degree (or technical diploma) in business, architecture, engineering, finance, economics, planning, Indigenous studies/governance or a related field.Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous rights, UNDRIP, regional histories, cultural protocols as they relate to current issues in industrial and resource development and reconciliation.Experience in planning and facilitating Indigenous engagements in collaboration with First Nations and Indigenous organizations.Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.A team‐oriented attitude, and ability to work independently and as part of an integrated team.Proven capability of working within a multi‐disciplinary team.Demonstrated initiative and ability to communicate and engage with diverse groups.Strong technical,



analytical and problem‐solving capabilities.Flexibility to manage multiple assignments and competing priorities.Strong quantitative and computer skills.Ability to travel within Canada and abroad, as necessary.KPMG BC Region Pay Range InformationThe expected base salary range for this position is $88,000 to $131,500. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual's location, skills and competencies, and unique qualifications.
