Position Summary

Original Luxury is seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Stock Associate to support our inventory operations on a casual, on-call basis. This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible work while contributing to the behind-the-scenes operations of a luxury retail environment.

Working in collaboration with the Inventory & Ecommerce Manager, the Stock Associate provides additional support during peak operational periods, particularly during new merchandise arrivals, seasonal inventory increases, photoshoots, inventory counts, and fulfillment surges. The successful candidate will help ensure incoming products are processed efficiently and that inventory remains organized, accurate, and ready for both the showroom and ecommerce operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Support

- Assist with receiving and unpacking new merchandise.
- Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
- Apply product tags, barcodes, and labels.
- Organize merchandise within the stockroom according to Original Luxury standards.
- Assist with inventory transfers and stock replenishment.
- Help maintain an exceptionally clean, organized, and productive stockroom.

New Arrival Processing

- Support the Inventory & Ecommerce Manager during large product deliveries.
- Prepare merchandise for ecommerce processing and photography.
- Steam, organize, and prepare products for studio shoots.
- Assist in moving products between the stockroom, showroom, and photography studio.




- Help ensure products are processed and available for sale as efficiently as possible.

Order Fulfillment Support

- Assist with picking and packing online orders.
- Prepare luxury packaging materials.
- Help organize outgoing shipments.
- Support fulfillment during busy sales periods and promotional events.

Inventory Projects

- Assist with inventory counts and stock audits.
- Support seasonal merchandising changes.
- Help reorganize inventory as new collections arrive.
- Complete additional operational projects assigned by the Inventory & Ecommerce Manager or Managing Director.

Qualifications

- Previous retail, warehouse, or inventory experience is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable lifting and moving merchandise throughout the day.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to assist wherever needed.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- An appreciation for luxury fashion is considered an asset.

Schedule

This is a casual, on-call position with hours scheduled based on business needs. Availability is especially important during:

- Large new inventory arrivals
- Ecommerce product launches
- Inventory counts
- Seasonal collection changes




- Photoshoot preparation
- Peak sales periods and special events

There are no guaranteed weekly hours, but shifts will be offered as operational demands require.
