Reports to : Head of Retail Banking Department

Location : Toronto Downtown Office

Responsibilities

- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify product opportunities
- Support the development and launch of new retail banking products (e.g., deposits, FX, GIC, crossborder services)
- Define product positioning, features, and value propositions aligned with business objectives.

Product Lifecycle Management

- Manage and optimize existing product portfolio, including performance monitoring and enhancements.
- Identify opportunities for product integration, simplification, and customer experience improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product competitiveness and compliance.

Head Office & Stakeholder Coordination

- Act as a key liaison between Head Office and local teams for product initiatives.
- Support localization and implementation of Head Office product strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including IT, Operations, Compliance, and Front Office.

Project Delivery & Implementation





- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for system and digital banking enhancements
- Work closely with other teams to support product delivery and ensure timely implementation.
- Monitor project progress and support issue resolution during product rollout.

Qualifications

- Undergraduate or above in Finance, Business, Economics or related fields.
- 2 – 4 years of experience in banking product management, product development, or related roles. Candidates with less experience will be considered for a junior position.
- Solid understanding of retail banking products.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams and driving project delivery.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable solutions.
- Experience working with digital banking platforms or system-related projects is an asset.
- Excellent English communication skills; proficiency in Chinese is considered an asset.
