About the Job:We are seeking anSenior Release Train Engineer (RTE)with a strong background inScrum Mastery, Release Management, and DevOps enablementto support a fast‑paced retail delivery environment. This role will act as thecentral delivery and release orchestrator, ensuring seamless coordination across Agile teams, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.The RTE will drivecomplex releasesby enabling automation, improving flow through CI/CD pipelines, and enforcing release governance—while providing transparency to leadership on delivery health, risks, and release readiness.Office Location:TorontoEmployment Type:PermanentRole Type:New position – current requirementWork Arrangement:HybridPosition Responsibilities:Serve asSenior Release Train Engineer, driving alignment, flow, and execution across multiple Agile teamsTaking ownership of managing complex releases across all teamsFacilitate Agile ceremonies includingPI planning, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives .Coach teams onAgile, DevOps, and continuous delivery best practicesto improve predictability and throughput.Act asScrum Master for a QA‑focused team, including performance, regression, and web QA engineers.Ownend‑to‑end release managementfor multiple recurring and ad‑hoc releases.Plan, coordinate, and executeweekly production releaseswith minimal business disruption.Partner withDevOps and platform teamsto align release schedules withCI/CD pipelines and deployment automation .Enable release readiness throughautomated testing, stable environments,



and deployment pipelines .Coordinateconsolidated releasesacross multiple teams and value streams.Identify delivery and pipeline bottlenecks and drive improvements tolead time, deployment frequency, and release success rates .Ensure compliance withrelease governance, quality standards, and change management controls .RequirementsRequired Qualifications:10+ years of overall experienceand 7+ years as an RTEStrong hands‑on experience inRelease Managementacross multiple teams and projects.Demonstratedexposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.Experience working closely withQA teams, including performance and regression testing.Solid understanding ofdependency management, risk mitigation, and release governance .Strong communication, facilitation, and leadership‑level stakeholder management skills.Ability to operate effectively in ahigh‑frequency, high‑velocity release environment .Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the retail or e‑commerce domain.Working knowledge of DevOps tools and platforms (e.G., Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab, Azure DevOps, AWS, Kubernetes, or similar).Having SAFe, Scrum Master.
