Join Flynn Group of Companies as a Shop Driver, operating heavy trucks in Mississauga on a Monday to Friday, day shift schedule. Utilize your driving expertise to manage material transportation effectively.
In this full-time role, you’ll work closely with the shipping and receiving teams to transport raw and finished materials at our Mississauga branch. Ideal candidates must have considerable experience in heavy truck driving and specifically in operating flatbeds. Your responsibilities will include material loading/unloading, riding forklifts, and ensuring that safety protocols are consistently followed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers
• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift and other required equipment
• Prepare shipping materials,



including shrink-wrapping
• Deliver materials to relevant locations and ensure secure loads
• Complete safety check sheets and logs of driving activities
Requirements:
• Valid Class AZ license with a clean record
• Minimum two years of heavy truck driving experience
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and self-motivate
• Capability to lift 80 lbs for loading and unloading
