Infrastructure & Capital Projects - Senior Project Manager (Datacenter Construction) Location: Toronto, ON, CA (Primary) Category: Construction Management, Project Management Job Type: Full-time Overview At Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects, you’ll help develop and deliver large‑scale infrastructure projects, including data center construction, to improve the world around us. Responsibilities Manage and implement the assigned datacenter projects from inception through to completion Develop new project or program plans and expectations in consultation with stakeholders, including clients, and delegate deliverables Determine and manage the human and material resources required to complete assigned projects successfully Formulate a resource allocation strategy and utilize this to distribute work and budgets Exercise authority in managing the work and control the delivery of the projects per project plans Review and ensure adherence to the overall scope, schedule, and budget Identify risks and entrench mitigation strategies and contingency plans Monitor and report on performance against project requirements, schedule, milestones, budgets, quality measures, and KPIs, and address issues with corrective actions as appropriate to ensure excellence and adherence to specified deadlines Evaluate the project's effectiveness by consulting with clients and other stakeholders Establish and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations to various audiences, including the project team, client executives, key stakeholders, and Operations Oversee ongoing quality control, participate in quality issue resolution,
and manage internal quality control checks for the project Define success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project and program life cycle Working Conditions Office‑based Qualifications Experience Minimum of 12 years of experience in Datacenter construction Project Management Education Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field Licenses or Certifications Holding a recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Skills and Competencies Strong understanding of prevailing Datacenter Project Management methods Extensive knowledge of tools and metrics needed to evaluate project performance Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Proficient in Project Management software Must maintain professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimal input from leadership Keen eye for detail and adept problem‑solving abilities Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal) Expert ability to work collaboratively and independently in a structured, disciplined, technology‑driven environment Proven capacity to anticipate, identify, and minimize risks Expert ability to detect, capitalize, and be sensitive to others’ strengths Demonstrated capability to supervise, delegate, and develop capacity Tact to perceive and ameliorate conflict and tension Effectively leads multi‑resource Project Management teams Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem‑solving workplace by ensuring effective teamwork, promotion of innovation, and overall excellence Demonstrated functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices Proven success in providing on‑site leadership for the project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones Compensation Accenture provides a competitive pay range based on location, role, skill set, and experience.
