Rate - 90-100/hr INC Staff/Senior Software Developer The Role We are looking for a Staff/Senior Software Developer to join our cross-functional AI Engineering team. You will be a key architect and contributor to an agentic AI application revolutionizing the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate bridges the gap between expert-level backend engineering and up-to-date AI product development. You will set the technical direction for a team of AI, data, and full-stack developers, ensuring our platform is scalable, secure, and impactful. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership: Define the technical vision and long-term architecture for our AI-driven healthcare platform. System Design: Architect scalable, multi-tenant microservices and data flows, ensuring high performance and maintainability. Mentorship: Lead code reviews and foster a culture of technical excellence, guiding junior and senior developers alike. Security & Compliance: Implement rigorous data protection standards for PII and PHI within the Canadian healthcare context, including encryption key management and RBAC. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers, designers, and AI engineers to translate complex business needs into robust technical solutions.



Technical Requirements Mastery of Language: Expert-level proficiency in either Python or TypeScript . Backend & Architecture: Extensive experience with backend data flow, microservices, and multi-tenant architectures. AI Engineering: Recent experience building AI products, specifically using frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph . Cloud Infrastructure (GCP): Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform, including GKE (Kubernetes) , GCS, Secret Manager, and IAM/RBAC. Security & Data Privacy: Proven understanding of data retention policies and sensitive data protection (PHI/PII) in regulated environments. Software Excellence: Strong adherence to SOLID principles, Clean Code, and the full SDLC. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the healthcare technology sector. Experience working with a regulated environment, such as dealing with PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act) and/or PHIPA. Familiarity with Next.Js (Frontend) and Nest.Js (Backend) within a TypeScript ecosystem. Proven track record of delivering large-scale, high-impact software projects from conception to deployment.
