As a result of ongoing growth within our practice, we are looking for aManager – Advisory Servicesto join our team. What the role offersA career with Decision Point will offer you the opportunity to: Work with high profile clients on local and international engagements Grow your professional experience and career through on-the-job learning that will provide you with continued technical skills development and diverse business experience, including emerging services in the profession such as crypto currency and artificial intelligence A competitive compensation package and short-term incentive plan including a base salary in the range of $105,000 – 125,000 per year depending on experience Work flexibly and an unlimited vacation policy 100% employer paid Extended Health, Dental, Travel Insurance & Employee Assistance Program Eligible for new client referral bonus (10% of first engagement revenue) Technology allowance to cover subscriptions to applications such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity (note that these may change) $500 per annum fitness allowance ResponsibilitiesBe responsible for ensuring that each client is provided responsive,
high-quality service in the areas of internal controls, internal audit and risk management Review work produced by your team to ensure high quality output which meets the needs articulated by the client. Provide positive affirmation as well as constructive feedback to your team as required Lead interactions with our clients Work to build long lasting client and staff relationships built on a foundation of trust and mutual respect Collaborate with the leadership team on a regular basis and provide input into policy and strategy development Work with the Decision Point team to develop cutting-edge and practical solutions for our clients and our own internal operations Serve as a career mentor to more junior members of the team Be provided 10% of available time to work on self-selected projects, education, research, etc. Core competenciesShowing interest and enthusiasm in our clients and business Delivering High-Quality Work Strong critical thinking capabilities Committed to continuous improvement and lifelong learning Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work with, and manage a wide variety of stakeholders, from internal teams to clients Superior verbal and written communication skills Candidate ProfileA CPA or CIA designation. Pursuit of certifications in internal audit or IT audit (such as CIA or CISA) would also be considered an asset. Minimum 4 years of related work experience in some, or all of the following areas: internal controls, Sarbanes Oxley, financial reporting, process improvement.
