Become a Sexual Health Nurse with Primary Care Services at Six Nations of the Grand River. Deliver culturally safe sexual health services, focusing on STI care, reproductive options, and inclusive community education.
This contract position spans 12 months with 35 hours/week, providing specialized clinical services. Reporting to the Manager of Primary Care, you will interact closely with the Public Health Department to promote health and prevent disease. Emphasizing cooperative integration, this role supports youth and LGBTQ2S+ health while fulfilling community needs through education and policy input.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide STI testing and treatment in a culturally safe manner
• Administer contraceptive and pregnancy options counseling




• Support community education on sexual health and safety
• Facilitate gender-affirming care partnerships
• Contribute to the development of sexual health programs
Requirements:
• Ontario Registered Nurse in good standing
• Minimum two years experience in public health or community settings
• Valid Driver’s License and CPR certification
• Ability to work autonomously under medical directives
• Commitment to ethical, confidential care delivery
