Junior Property Accountant
Contract: 3 Months to Permanent
Rate: $30–$35/hour (depending on experience)
Location: Toronto, Ontario (5 Days On Site)

A leading global commercial real estate organization is seeking a Junior Property Accountant to join their team. This opportunity is open to both experienced Property Accountants and junior accounting professionals who have strong reconciliation experience and are looking to further develop their skills within a commercial real estate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete account, bank, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities
- Support financial reporting and variance analysis
- Review and investigate discrepancies, ensuring accuracy of financial records
- Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Maintain and validate financial data within internal accounting systems
- Collaborate with accounting, finance, and operational teams on reporting and reconciliation requirements
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, property accounting, or financial administration experience
- Strong reconciliation experience (bank, account, AR/AP, balance sheet, or similar)
- Accounting education (Diploma, Degree, CPA pathway, or equivalent)
- Strong Excel skills
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Property accounting or commercial real estate experience is considered an asset but is not required
