The Shipping Supervisor oversees all outbound shipping operations in a manufacturing

facility processing approximately 140 shipments per week. This role ensures accurate order

fulfillment, on-time dispatch, safe material handling, and productive dock operations while leading

shipping personnel and coordinating with carriers and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise weekly outbound shipments.
- Manage load planning and shipment prioritization.
- Lead and schedule shipping staff including forklift operators and loaders.
- Ensure order accuracy, proper documentation (BOLs, packing lists), and compliance with
- DOT and OSHA standards.
- Maintain organized, safe dock operations and enforce company policies.
- Collaborate with production and inventory teams to align output with shipping schedules.
- Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies or damage claims.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of shipping or warehouse leadership experience.
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments.
- Knowledge of freight documentation and carrier coordination.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
