Researches and analyzes industry,



market and technology trends and standards to determine the suitability of approaches in solving VIHA business challenges.QUALIFICATIONS:Education, Training And ExperienceA level of education, training and experience equivalent to a degree in computer science and ten (10) years' relevant experience including experience in technology deployment and management in a large clinical organization.Skills And AbilitiesConsiderable experience managing large, diverse technology projects including planning, executing and evaluation.Ability to keep skill set up to date with recent technologies as they are introduced to the workplace.Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.Ability to work independently and organize workload and priorities.Ability to transfer knowledge and skills to other department staff.Ability to provide clear and concise briefing materials for executive as well as system documentation and procedures for other staff.This role operates within a medical imaging environment. As such, significant experience with PACS, medical imaging applications, and system integrations is expected. Candidates should bring a strong understanding of diagnostic imaging workflows and relevant interoperability standards such as DICOM and HL7.Salary range for this position is $90,770 (min) to $130,481 (max) per annum (based on 1 FTE).
