As a Designer at Hubbell’s Wildlife Mitigation Business Unit, you will spearhead design efforts, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams on complex projects. Your expertise in 3D modeling, particularly using SolidWorks, will be essential for creating Site Protection Plans and ensuring designs meet customer requirements. With 1-3 years of experience in mechanical design, you can significantly contribute to operational efficiency and compliance within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and review designs for accuracy and timeliness
• Process dimensional data using photogrammetry




• Model solutions in 3D with SolidWorks
• Develop shop drawings and Bills of Material
• Ensure compliance with engineering and regulatory standards
Requirements:
• 1-3 years’ experience with SolidWorks or similar software
• Post-secondary education or technical certification
• Mechanical or industrial design experience is a plus
• High attention to detail and effective communication skills
• Ability to thrive in quick-paced environments
