Strategic Buyer – PCD (Detail Parts & Raw Materials)

Type: Full-time, Permanent Position – 6 months

Key Responsibilities

- Contribute to the sourcing activity, manage the tendering and the contract negotiation to achieve the best purchasing conditions in accordance within Company requirements (Internal - External).
- Monitor the contract (during innovation, development, serial and support phases) with suppliers and Company stakeholders to achieve throughout the contract life cycle a complete application of terms and conditions to ensure suppliers deliver expected performance in all dimensions (Logistics, support, quality, cost ...).
- Manage the day-to-day relationships with suppliers and running projects to optimize customer value, while minimizing total cost of ownership & risks.
- Participate in the Multifunctional/Multidivisional teams all along the tendering, contracting and contract life cycle phases.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration,



Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in an aerospace environment.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, contract management, supplier relationship management, and risk mitigation.
- Comfortable working in a cross-functional, multidisciplinary environment and collaborating with teams such as Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Finance, and Program Management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Organizational skills, autonomy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
- Previous experience in the aerospace, aviation, or manufacturing industry is considered a strong asset.
