Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Waterproofing Project Manager role based in Vancouver, BC. The Waterproofing Project Manager oversees assigned waterproofing projects from planning through completion, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with clients, consultants, and internal teams; preparing project schedules; organizing materials and resources; and managing subcontractors and field crews. The role involves monitoring site progress, conducting regular inspections for quality and compliance, resolving issues or delays, and updating stakeholders on project status. The Waterproofing Project Manager also reviews drawings and specifications, assists with estimating and change orders, manages documentation, and supports adherence to safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

- Solid project coordination and expediting capabilities, including experience as an Expeditor and in Expediting activities for construction or waterproofing projects.
- Proven Project Management skills, with experience planning, scheduling, budgeting, and managing multiple projects or phases simultaneously.
- Hands‑on experience with Inspection and quality control processes,



ensuring work meets specifications, building codes, and safety requirements.
- Logistics Management skills, including organizing materials, deliveries, equipment, and workforce to keep projects on track.
- Background in commercial roofing or waterproofing, with the ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical details.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, suppliers, and site teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work on‑site in a construction environment, prioritize tasks, and solve problems under time and budget constraints.
- Proficiency with construction management software and basic office tools (e.g., MS Office, project scheduling applications).
- Post‑secondary education in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and environmentally responsible construction practices; familiarity with ISO or similar standards is an asset.
