MarieOverviewThe Executive Director, under the direction of the Board of Directors, has overall strategic and operational responsibility for Lotus House’s staff, services, and programs, ensuring high-quality, client-oriented services, executed in accordance with the mission, vision and values of the organization. The Executive Director functions within legislative and regulatory requirements and in accordance with policies and procedures. The Executive Director demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the field, core programs, operations, strategic and business plans and current community challenges and opportunities relating to the mission of the organization. The Executive Director oversees and contributes to the accomplishment of the Board approved strategic priorities of the organization.ResponsibilitiesThe Executive Director, under the direction of the Board of Directors, has overall strategic and operational responsibility for Lotus House’s staff, services, and programs, ensuring high-quality, client-oriented services in alignment with the mission, vision and values.Education/CertificationBachelor’s degree preferred, in social services, human services administration and/or related discipline, or equivalent experienceExperienceMinimum 5 years in progressive senior leadership positions in community-based, non-profit, voluntary sector organization, including responsibility for strategic planning and operations, and reporting to Board of DirectorsExperience in positions with financial oversight, budgeting, reporting for charity with knowledge of CRA regulations and compliance requirementsProven ability to secure major gifts, manage grants, lead successful fundraising events and donor relations programs.Knowledge,
