What You’ll Be Doing Join our Debt Capital Markets team as a Student Analyst and become part of a team focused on delivering cutting-edge bond financing solutions to CIBC’s clients including corporates and institutions around the world. Our goal remains to be the leading Capital Markets franchise in Canada and to work as one team to build our brand across North America and the world. As a Student Analyst within Debt Capital Markets, you will become an integral part of the origination and syndication teams and will provide detailed analytical, financial modeling, structuring, research and transaction support to senior professionals, helping to win business and execute transactions. How You’ll Succeed Support Execution of Primary Bond Offerings – Work with other members of the DCM origination and syndication teams to help bring bond new issues to market, through the entire deal lifecycle. Support the Coverage of Existing and Prospective Clients – Work with others on the DCM team globally, along with groups across CIBC Capital Markets to create presentation materials, bond pricing and market updates to support the coverage of existing and prospective clients of CIBC. Research and Analytics – Provide a broad range of analytical, research and presentation preparation support to the team. Who You Are You have demonstrated interest in Capital Markets.
