Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Drywall Taper to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying joint compound, taping, and finishing drywall surfaces to ensure a smooth, skilled appearance. This role requires attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced construction workplace. Prior experience in construction painting, carpentry, or handyman work is highly valued. The Drywall Taper plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality interior finishes for residential and commercial projects.

Duties
Apply joint compound and tape to drywall seams and corners with precision and consistency
Sand and finish drywall surfaces to achieve a seamless look suitable for painting or other finish
Use hand tools such as taping knives, sanders,



and mud mixers effectively
Perform caulking around drywall joints and other areas as needed for a clean finish
Maintain a clean work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications
Prior experience in drywall taping, finishing, or related construction work preferred
Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow safety guidelines and work independently or as part of a team
Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to producing high-quality results

Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
