Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our energetic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and customer service, along with experience in food and beverage preparation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer experiences, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food service, cash handling, and food safety within a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks with precision and consistency
Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to ensure satisfaction
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change
Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space in compliance with food safety standards
Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light food items when needed
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service




Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of food items
Support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications
Previous Barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for effective order processing
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing transactions accurately
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Previous experience in serving, food preparation, or food service is advantageous
