In your role as a Safety Specialist, you'll lead training and safety inspections while ensuring full compliance with federal and local regulations. You're responsible for proactive risk management and fostering a culture where safety is prioritized. Collaborate with terminal management on safety programs and participate in critical incident investigations to maintain a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coach and train drivers in safety compliance
• Conduct safety inspections and implement corrective actions




• Develop and update safety training programs
• Investigate and report on safety incidents
• Facilitate employee safety meetings to promote awareness
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 3+ years in Transportation Safety and training
• Knowledge of DOT and Motor Carrier regulations
• Proven communication and leadership skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
