Reporting to the Manager of Health & Safety, your role focuses on implementing and monitoring health and safety processes at the plant. This position requires collaboration with staff to promote compliance with health legislation and Sofina's internal guidelines. You will facilitate training, conduct audits, and support health and safety initiatives while improving compliance and reducing incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with management on health and safety policies
• Monitor and enhance the Plant Health & Safety Programs




• Identify trends and communicate improvements to plant management
• Develop and deliver health and safety training
• Conduct audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented
Requirements:
• Degree or certification in Occupational Health & Safety
• 3-5 years in a health and safety role
• Knowledge of relevant safety legislation
• Valid Advanced First Aid or EMT certification
• CRSP, CHSC, or CRST designations preferred
