along with other financial reports for key stakeholdersCollaborate with finance partners to ensure timely completion of external audit requirementsParticipate in annual intangible and goodwill impairment testingPartner closely with Controllership to advise on and oversee accurate journalization and disclosure of complex accounting transactionsMaintain strong internal controls and documentation over financial reporting processesLead period-end variance analysis and management reporting, supporting the preparation of accurate and insightful reports and presentations for Executives and the BoardLead the preparation and submission of Statistics Canada reporting schedulesBudgeting, Forecasting, and Strategic PlanningLead forecasting and planning activities across various P&L expense categories (e.G., depreciation, ROU) and analyze actual performance against benchmarksApply analytical frameworks to assess “year-to-go” performance, including trend analysis and normalization activities, in support of the VP, Commercial FinanceDevelop and maintain a strong understanding of LifeLabs’ projections and strategic initiatives to ensure alignment across deliverablesSupport ad-hoc reporting, financial analysis, and transformation initiatives as required by senior finance leadershipWhat You’ll BringUniversity degree in a financial disciplineCPA Designation required3-5 years of progressive experience in Reporting and/or FP&A.
