Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and effective Server/Cashier to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking orders, processing payments, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant workplace. This role requires a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth restaurant operations.

Duties
Greet customers warmly and provide menu recommendations when needed
Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS
Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
Assist in food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed to support overall restaurant operations
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness of dining area, tables, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards
Ensure timely delivery of orders to guests and check on their satisfaction throughout their visit
Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills




Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to resolve issues promptly

Skills
Proven experience in food service, cashiering, or restaurant environments
Strong knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for order processing and transactions
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards in the food industry
Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus
Effective time management skills to serve multiple guests efficiently during busy periods
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and sales
Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact with customers professionally

This position offers an opportunity to be part of a agile team dedicated to delivering quality service in a welcoming environment. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
