Wildling is a restaurant and wine bar in downtown Kelowna that celebrates the small winemakers and farmers in BC and beyond, who are working in harmony with the Earth to create wine and food that is beautiful, honest and delicious. We are looking for skilled and passionate cooks with a love for simple, meaningful food to join our culinary team.

The Wildling kitchen consists of a small and nimble team. It will be advantageous for applicants to demonstrate a range of experiences and a strong willingness to apply themselves in a variety of kitchen operations. At Wildling you will be training under a certified Red Seal Chef with Michelin Star experience.

Requirements
Minimum 2+ years of experience in a professional restaurant/kitchen
Speed and drive
Passionate for the culinary arts and creating unique, elevated, and authentic food
Self-motivated, reliable and hard-working with the ability to multitask and a strong attention to detail




Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a positive and respectful attitude
Proficient in food preparation techniques, knowledge of food safety principles, and the ability to meet quality and cleanliness standards
Valid FOODSAFE certificate required

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is handled safely and meets FoodSafe guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas.
Assist in meal preparation and plating, ensuring timely service.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Communicate effectively with staff to coordinate food service and address any issues.
