Duties
Prepare and assemble sushi dishes with precision and attention to detail, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
Handle all aspects of food preparation, including slicing fish, rolling sushi, and assembling ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist in meal preparation for various menu items beyond sushi as needed
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold hygiene standards
Serve customers with professionalism and courtesy, providing excellent food service experience
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency across dishes
Skills
Proven experience serving, preparing, and cooking sushi or similar Japanese cuisine
Robust background in food preparation, food handling, and kitchen operations within a restaurant or food industry setting
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Excellent attention to detail for meal presentation and quality control
