Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced French Teacher (TEF Canada Preparation) to join our language program in Vancouver.

The ideal candidate is familiar with the TEF Canada exam structure and has experience teaching French to adult learners or preparing students for language tests.

This role is well-suited for part-time instructors, including university students or professionals with strong French proficiency and teaching ability.

Responsibilities
Deliver French lessons focused on TEF Canada exam preparation (speaking, listening, reading, writing)
Develop lesson plans tailored to students preparing for immigration or language certification
Provide guidance on exam strategies, scoring criteria, and practice techniques
Support students in improving overall French proficiency and confidence




Adapt teaching methods based on student levels and learning goals
Conduct classes online or in-person (Vancouver)

Qualifications
Strong proficiency in French (B2–C1 or above preferred)
Familiarity with TEF / TEF Canada exam format
Prior teaching or tutoring experience is an asset
Experience preparing students for language exams is preferred
Positive communication skills and ability to explain concepts clearly
Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently

This position is suitable for part time instructors or university students with adaptable schedules.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance, Permanent

Pay: $17.85-$36.88 per hour
