Duties
Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation to ensure timely service
Cook a variety of dishes following established recipes and safety guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas, including utensils, equipment, and workstations
Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Support serving staff by preparing orders accurately and efficiently
Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and restocking supplies
Follow all food safety protocols to uphold health standards and prevent contamination
Skills
Proven experience in cooking or restaurant food preparation environments
Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations in the food industry
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting
Solid understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment usage
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration
Basic knowledge of food service operations and customer service principles
