Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our automotive repair team. The ideal candidate will have experience in collision repair, bodywork, and vehicle restoration, ensuring that all work meets high-quality standards. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional workplace where craftsmanship and customer satisfaction are prioritized. The Auto Body Technician will be responsible for diagnosing damages, repairing vehicle bodies, and restoring vehicles to their original condition using a variety of tools and techniques.

Responsibilities
Assess vehicle damage and develop repair plans to restore the vehicle’s appearance and structural integrity
Perform body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening
Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment to carry out repairs efficiently and safely
Sand, prime, paint, and finish vehicle surfaces to match original specifications
Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure timely completion of repairs
Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards




Document repair processes and communicate progress with supervisors and customers as needed

Qualifications
Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role within a dealership or independent shop
Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair processes
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques required for bodywork tasks
Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and collision repair standards
Ability to work with precision and attention to detail in a rapid-paced setting
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose vehicle damages accurately
Prior experience with dealership service centers or mechanic experience is highly desirable
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor for extended periods

Pay: $22.22-$39.43 per hour
