About the Role

The Heritage Tea Room is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Server & Kitchen Staff. This full-time term position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a rapid-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality food and beverages.

As part of our team, you'll help create a warm and welcoming experience for every guest while supporting the daily operations of the tea room.

Responsibilities
Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive customer service.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
Prepare and serve tea, coffee, and menu items according to established standards.
Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen duties.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, kitchen, and service areas.
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash and card transactions.




Restock supplies and assist with opening and closing duties.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications
Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service is considered an asset.
Friendly, skilled, and positive attitude.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Food Handler Certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain one).
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
