Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Site Drywall Assistant Supervisor to support our site operations team. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow into a leadership position within the construction industry while gaining hands-on experience across large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities
Perform regular quality control inspections of installed work
Document site progress through photos, daily reports, and tracking logs
Track and communicate changes, deficiencies, and extras to the project team
Assist with site layout, sequencing, and task planning
Support deficiency walks and project close-out processes
Maintain clear communication with Project Managers and office staff
Qualifications & Experience
Min. 2 years of experience in construction (drywall/framing experience is required)
Previous supervisory or foreman experience is an advantage
Solid understanding of construction drawings and specifications
Ability to identify quality issues and ensure high standards of workmanship
Proficient with basic documentation tools (photos, reports, Excel, Procore etc.)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Effective communication and leadership abilities
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices (e.g., WorkSafeBC)
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Assets (Nice to Have)
Experience on large multi-family or commercial projects
Familiarity with change order tracking and cost impacts
Experience using project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.)
First Aid certification
