Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Sorting Assistant to join our energetic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for organizing, categorizing, and preparing items for distribution or sale. Duties
Sort and categorize incoming merchandise, ensuring items are accurately labeled and stored in designated areas
Assist with inventory management by tracking stock levels and updating records
Sort parts/materials according to specifications given.
Directs and reports defective parts to the supervisor, thus determining if the part should be; recycled, scraped, or returned to the supplier.
Accurately documents inspection results by completing daily reports and logs.
Support the QA Supervisor/Manager in conducting investigations, preventive and corrective actions related to quality.
Understand and audit for compliance to Work Order and Picture Specifications.
Assist in monitoring, sorting,



eliminating defective parts and rework activities as applicable to ensure that quality and health and safety standards are maintained.
Maintain calibration schedule and document results - report any out of calibration conditions, damage or loss of equipment to management immediately.
Generate all required internal quality documents, e.g. In-process Inspection Reports,
Quality Alert Instructions, Packaging and Labeling Instructions, Fixture and gauge instructions, etc.

Skills
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Customer service orientation with friendly interpersonal skills
Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, and outdoor tasks as required

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
