The postdoctoral fellowship will start on September 1, 2026, at Cape Breton University, focusing on affordable rental housing issues. The successful candidate will require access to a Research Data Centre. You will work collaboratively with project supervisors and a specialized working group dedicated to housing studies.

Key Responsibilities:
Analyze Canadian Housing Survey data focusing on renter conditions
Report findings to project leads and partners
Produce academic papers, presentations, and public outputs
Collaborate with the Canadian Housing Survey Working Group
Examine housing types and their impacts on tenants

Requirements:
PhD in Sociology, Public Policy, or a relevant discipline
Solid skills in quantitative research methods
Proficient academic writing capabilities
Effective time management and self-direction skills
Experience in community engaged research
