Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
Confined Spaces Entry Training
Current WHMIS Certificate
Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS)
Fall Arrest Protection Training Course

JOB REQUIREMENTS
5 years (or more) experience
Must have own tools/equipment (hand tools, safety gear, steel-toed boots, hard hat)
Valid driver’s licence (driving record check/abstract required)
Police check required

SPECIFIC SKILLS
Install underground wiring and cables
Install, replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes
Splice, join and connect wires




Test and measure voltage loads, ground faults integrity of circuits
Troubleshoot and isolate faults
Install surface mount and/or overhead cables
Install power generation, stand-by power generation and power conditioning systems
Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems and structures including swimming pools and hot tubs
Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $33.00-$40.00 per hour

Experience:
Journeyman Electrician: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
Drivers Licence (required)
