In this role, you will implement security architectures and system threat models crucial for product safety. As part of the security team, you will ensure that Verathon meets the latest FDA regulations and cybersecurity standards throughout the product lifecycle.
This position demands expertise in systems engineering and solid collaboration with various engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
Define product security architecture and control objectives
Lead system-level threat modeling and mitigation allocation
Derive cybersecurity requirements from FDA guidance
Produce and maintain security documentation and traceability
Oversee penetration testing and remediation efforts
Requirements:
Bachelor's in Systems or a related field
5+ years in systems or product security engineering
Experience with system threat modeling methodologies
Knowledge of medical device cybersecurity regulations
Robust written communication skills for technical documentation
Drive impactful change in medical device security while ensuring compliance and addressing cybersecurity challenges at Verathon.
