Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality and Safety Assistant to support our maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of QA systems and SMS.

QC Duties
Assist departments with completion of corrective actions
Regularly audit completed maintenance work packs for compliance with company procedures
Other duties as assigned by the PRM

QA Duties
Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly, providing feedback
Draft corrective and preventative actions, and record progress as per the QA system.
Conduct audits of all areas of the company related to the performance of aircraft maintenance

SMS Duties
Work with the Safety Manager to ensure SMS goals are met
Conduct safety audits
Contribute to the development of safety protocols to foster a safe working setting

Experience




Prior experience in aircraft maintenance QA mandatory
Prior experience with SMS a strong asset
Experience with RAAS as a strong asset
Experience with Centrik a robust asset
Strong skills in word processing, auditing, data collection, analysis, and reporting are essential for success in this role.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams are required.
Previous experience in a quality or safety role is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates eager to learn.
