Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supervisor Operator to oversee daily site operations related to water and sewer installation, grading, and excavation. This role requires a hands-on leader who can operate equipment, read plans accurately, and guide crew members to complete projects efficiently and safely.

Duties
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the team to ensure production targets are met
Operate and oversee heavy equipment operation, ensuring proper use and safety compliance
Train and mentor junior operators and laborers
Provide training and guidance to team members on operational procedures and equipment use
Facilitate communication between management and staff to promote teamwork and resolve issues promptly.
Perform precise excavation for: Water and sewer services Basement dig-outs Footings and foundation prep
Read and interpret grading plans, servicing drawings, and site layouts
Set grades using:



Laser level systems Manual grade checking techniques.

Skills
Proficiency in operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and manage physically demanding tasks.
Robust leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team effectively
Excellent communication skills for clear instruction and reporting purposes
Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Prior experience as a Lead Hand or supervisory role is mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.92-$40.00 per hour
