We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Custom Broker Release Clerk to join our team. Duties
Review and verify customs documentation for accuracy and completeness before submission
Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with customs regulations and company policies
Prepare and process release requests for imported goods in accordance with applicable laws and procedures
Collaborate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues
Maintain detailed records of all transactions, audits, and communications related to customs releases
Assist in reconciling import documentation with accounting records to ensure proper financial reporting




Monitor the progress of shipments through various stages of clearance and update relevant stakeholders accordingly
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to customs processes and compliance standards

Experience
Prior experience in customs brokerage, import/export operations, or related logistics roles is preferred
Strong background in auditing procedures, including internal audits of compliance processes
Knowledge of accounting principles as they relate to import transactions and financial reconciliation
Familiarity with customs regulations, tariffs, and international trade compliance standards is advantageous
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively
