We support spectacular drone light shows across Canada and the U.S. and are looking for reliable, enthusiastic independent contractors to join our ground crew roster.
Role Overview
As a Ground Crew Contractor, you will assist with the set-up, operation, and tear-down of drone shows under the direction of the Pilot-in-Command. This is an on-call, casual prospect where you can accept shows that fit your schedule through our contractor scheduling system.
Responsibilities
Assist with set-up and tear-down of drone show operations.
Load/unload equipment, handle batteries, and deploy ground support systems.
Drive company vehicles to transport equipment to and from show sites.
Maintain perimeter safety and site security during shows.
Requirements
Previous aviation or live event experience is an asset.
Transport Canada Basic RPAS Certificate preferred.
Valid driver’s license,
clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and during irregular hours.
Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs.
Compensation
Independent contractor role (not employment).
Paid per show or per day, depending on assignment.
Travel, mileage, and per diem may be provided when applicable.
