Duties
Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
Assist customers with product inquiries, upselling opportunities, and product demos to maximize sales potential
Maintain store merchandising standards by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring products are well-presented
Handle cash and perform cashiering duties with accuracy and attention to detail
Support inventory management through stocking, inventory counts, and stock replenishment activities
Demonstrate strong communication skills by effectively engaging with bilingual customers and providing clear information about products and services
Experience
Prior retail sales or cashiering experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
Supervising experience is a plus, especially in leading small teams or guiding new staff members
Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math concepts such as discounts and pricing calculations
Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail merchandising is advantageous
Excellent phone etiquette skills for handling customer inquiries over the phone professionally.
