Sweep, wipe, wash, vacuum, wax, and polish floors and furniture
Clean and disinfect washrooms, bathrooms, and related accessories
Empty garbage cans and other waste containers
Replenish toilet supplies and clean windows, light fixtures, diffusers, and walls
Remove snow and ice from daycare entrances
Maintain the daycare playground and surrounding outdoor areas
Mow the lawn and perform basic groundskeeping
Carry out minor repairs as needed
Perform routine preventive maintenance
Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies when necessary
Regularly inspect playground equipment and fire safety equipment to ensure safety
Assist with daily transition routines
Provide support in classrooms as required
Assist classroom teachers with feeding, toileting, and providing attentive care to children throughout the day.
