Responsibilities
Assist in preparing a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies
Perform cake decorating and food presentation to meet quality standards
Support food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
Package baked items efficiently for retail display or customer orders
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas
Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively during food preparation
Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product selections and inquiries
Follow recipes accurately and contribute to maintaining consistent product quality
Support the team during busy periods by helping with additional food preparation tasks
Qualifications
Previous experience in a bakery, restaurant, or food service environment is preferred
Knowledge of baking techniques, cake decorating, and food safety standards is advantageous
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and skilled demeanor
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining quality standards
Basic kitchen experience including food preparation, cooking, and packaging skills
Food handling certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus
Reliable team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude
