Horizon Compliance Specialist – ERP Compliance
Drive Compliance Excellence in a Global ERP Transformation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the organization’s ERP compliance strategy, policies, and procedures for SOX (52‑109) compliance.
- Collaborate with compliance and security professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective initiative execution.
- Conduct regular spot checks to identify compliance risks and security threats and develop mitigation strategies.
- Enhance governance and compliance best practices to enable faster and more productive audit cycles.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to integrate security and compliance requirements into new systems and technologies.
- Develop and deliver compliance awareness programs to promote a strong culture of compliance across the organization.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure effective implementation of compliance controls.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards including SOX (52‑109), GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and others.
- Prepare and present reports to senior leadership on ERP security posture, insights, recommendations, and metrics.
- Collaborate across teams to optimize compliance assessments through automation and improve audit lifecycle efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- In‑depth knowledge of SOX (52‑109) controls and compliance best practices.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, with familiarity in SQL,
databases, and cloud platforms.
- Ability to analyze ERP data and derive insights using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or advanced Excel.
- Proven ability to assess and manage risks related to ERP implementations and operations.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on mitigating compliance and security risks.
- Strong ability to drive change initiatives and support ERP adoption across complex environments.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with regulatory and IT security standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in complex environments.
Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $98,800 - $130,800
MB & ON: $90,100 - $124,100
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $89,200 - $118,500
